Tito Topin is a famous scenarist, novelist and producer of films. In the 1960s, he was a comic artist as well. Along with scenarist Jean Yanne he created the comic series 'Les Dossiers du B.I.D.E.'. This series, drawn by Topin in a pop art style, is about a secret organization engaged with the "defence of species." It contained elements of James Bond, science fiction and pop culture. Casterman published two albums in 1969 ('La Langouste ne passera pas' and 'Voyage au Centre de la C...ulture'). In the 1980s he briefly returned to comics, but this time as a scenarist. In 1988 appeared 'V Comme Vengeance', illustrated by Loustal.
