Cecilia Torudd is one of the most successful female comic artists in Sweden. She created the popular strip 'Ensamma Mamman' ('The Single Mother'), a semi-autobiographical comic about a single parent trying to raise her children in Sweden of the 1970s. The series is published in several Swedish newspapers and magazines, and has been collected in a number of albums. Torudd is also known for her several contributions to Kamratposten.
