'Die Reise nach Jerüsalem'.
Born in 1929 in Czechoslovakia, the German cartoonist Hans Traxler moved to Bayern, Germany, in 1945. He moved to Frankfurt in 1951, where he began his art studies. In 1962, he co-founded Pardon magazine, followed by the satirical magazine Titanic in 1979. A versatile artist, Traxler has illustrated children's books, sequential art and drawn political cartoons. Among his books are 'Die Wahrheit über Hänsel und Gretel' (1964), 'Die Reise nach Jerusalem' (1978), 'Leute von Gestern' (1981), 'Aus dem Leben der Gummibärchen' (1992), 'Wie Adam zählen lernte' (1993), 'Die Wiederkehr der Gummibärchen' (1994) and 'Wenn Kühe Propeller hätten' (1995).
