Lou Smog, by Georges van Linthout
'Lou Smog'.

Georges van Linthout created the series 'Lou Smog' at publisher Lombard. Afterwards, he started a comic adaptation of the 'Falkenberg' project at the same publisher. He made this series, about the occupied Ardennes in World War I with scriptwriter Yves Leclercq. He also produced 'La Nuit du Lièvre' with Leclercq, published at Delcourt. Van Linthout drew the backgrounds in several 'Natacha' album stories by François Walthéry. Georges also worked with his brother Stibane on 'Les Enquêtes Scapola' for Casterman.

In 1990, Van Linthout paid graphic tribute to François Walthéry in the collective homage book 'Natacha. Spécial 20 Ans' (Marsu Productions, 1990), which celebrated the 20th anniversary of Walthéry's series 'Natacha'. He additionally made a graphic contribution to the anti-racism collective comic book 'Rire Contre Le Racisme' (Jungle!, 2006).
