Felix Vega was born the son of painter Ana María Encina and the famous artist Oscar Vega. At a very young age, he decided to create comics. He attended art school for a year, but the concept of comics was not very well received there. He traveled to France, where he visited Angoulême and met many fellow comic artists who praised his work. He is the artist for the popular series 'Juan Buscamares', which has been published at Norma Editorial and Casterman.
