Along with Pat Mills, John Wagner was largely responsible for the revival of British comics in the 1970s, and for the creation of magazines Battle, Action and 2000 A.D. He has scripted 'Strontium Dog', 'Robohunter' and 'Judge Dredd', and has co-written 'Ace Trucking' with Alan Grant.
