'Ka-Blam!'

Tim Wallace is a presumably American graphic artist, who in 1974 created a pro-marijuana poster titled 'Ka-Blam!'. It was distributed by Pro Arts, Inc, of Medina Ohio, and often bootlegged among stoners.

Ka-Blam!
'Ka-Blam!' depicts a blond, mustached hippie experiencing the mind-bending effects of marijuana, which literally makes his head explode. A copy of 'Ka-Blam!' can be seen in the shop window of the Hash, Marijuana and Hemp Museum at the Oudezijds Achterburgwal 148 in Amsterdam. Virtually nothing is known about Tim Wallace, though his style is reminiscent of underground comix artist Gilbert Shelton. He may also have been inspired by Robert Crumb's iconic drawing (and later poster) 'Stoned Ag(a)in' (1971), which depicts a stoned man whose head literally melts.
