Artist of humorous children's comics Pierre Waltch was born in the Vosges region of France. He studied at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in Tournai for three years, while contributing to fanzines like Ribozine. Influenced by such diverse artists and André Franquin and Akira Toriyama, his first book was published by Makaka Éditions in 2008: 'Ecolo Attitude'. He then made two books of 'World of No Life' with Anthony Calla at Vents d'Ouest (2009-2011), before returning to Makaka to produce 'Le Passeur d'Âmes' with Cédric Asna (Ced) (2011-2013) and 'Chevaliers - Journal d'un Héros' with Shuky (since 2012).
