'Drinking At The Movies'.
Julia Wertz was born on 29 December 1982 in the San Francisco Bay Area. She made her name as author/illustrator with the autobiographical graphic novel 'The Fart Party', of which two volumes were published by Atomic Books in 2007 and 2009. She subsequently published her Eisner nominated graphic memoir 'Drinking at the Movies' in 2010. It was followed in 2012 by 'The Infinite Wait and Other Stories', a collection of three autobiographical stories, and 'Museum of Mistakes: The Fart Party Omnibus'.
She lives in Brooklyn, New York, where she used to make comics at Pizza Island (RIP), but focuses on a project for Adventure Bible School, her (photo) blog about urban exploring.
