'A Song Called City'.
Rik Willemen is a Flemish comic artist, art teacher and freelance illustrator. Born in Merksem, he studied at the Sint-Lucas Schools of Art in both Antwerp and Brussels. Among his teachers were comic artists Johan de Moor and Nix. His master project was a political sci-fi comic called 'The End of Belgium'. He started working on his next comics project called 'A Song Called City' with Bram Michielsen. It is a tale about modern magic that takes place in an urban environment, that was published online and also in book format in 2014.
