Quinn Williams was born in Duluth, Minnesota in 1975. At the age of eight, he won a cartoon contest, and from that moment, he knew he wanted to become a comic artist. He created the newspaper strip 'Hair of the Dawg' in 1997, and it has been published in several newspapers and magazines throughout the United States and Canada since 2000.
