'Oppassen!'.
Bert Witte was an award-winning Dutch cartoonist and occasional comic artist. He published 75 cartoon books, 6 calendars, provided illustrations for 51 books and won 26 international prizes. Witte made a daily cartoon for the Stan Huygens Journaal in De Telegraaf and also did some weekly political drawings for this newspaper. As a comic artist he is known for his contributions to Taptoe, including 'Bas Toverbal' and 'Speez'.

Witte also made a celebrity comic based on the television comedy 'Oppassen!', in which he portrayed all the characters as animals. It originally appeared in society magazine Story, and was also published in a book by Drukwerk in 1997. Bert Witte passed away in May 2012.
