Ashley Marie Witter grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and currently lives in the North West suburbs of Chicagoland. She graduated from Madison Area Technical College with a degree in Animation and Conceptual Development. She has worked on webcomics like 'Reign of Adeodatus' and 'Scorch', and contributed to the comic anthology 'Gothology: The Eternal Sad' by DAPshow.
Witter has made graphic novel adaptations of the Anne Rice novels 'Interview with the Vampire: Claudia's Story' (2012) and 'The Wolf Gift' (2014) for Yen Press. She works with writer Ash Maczko for Devil's Due on 'Squarriors', a post-apocalyptic comic book serial that centers around several clans of animals living in a world recently void of humans.
