Xcar is founder of the magazine Malavida, and the creator of characters like 'El Greñas', 'El Patillas', 'El Hombre Bocata' and 'El Ríchal'. He has illustrated children's books and has participated in several multimedia projects. Other artists for the Malavida collective are Marcos J. Wander, Chefo, Moratha and Bernal.
