Evgeni Yordanov was born in 1956 in Vratza, Bulgaria. He studied at the Academy of Art, where he graduated in 1983, creating a scandal because his graduation project was a comic, which was highly unusual in communist Bulgaria. He became a freelance comic artist and has created comics like 'Tomek' and 'Dobromir' for magazine Duga; 'Radul' for magazine Chuden Sviat; 'Noril and Varga' for Razkazi v Kartinki; 'Conan the Barbarian' for Super Pleada Comics; 'The Tooth of Buda' for Mag and 'Eak the Destroyer' for Riko.
