Yudetamago is the pen name of the artist duo Yoshinori Nakai and Shimada Takashi. Still in high school, they created the wrestling superhero 'Kinnikuman' for Shonen Jump as a parody of the famous anime series 'Ultraman'. The manga ran from 1979 to 1987, and was later adapted into an anime series. 'Kinnikuman' later received a spin-off, 'Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy', about the son of Kinnikuman, which started in 1998. Between 1982 and 1989, Yudetamago also made the fighting manga serial 'Tatakae!! Ramenman', serialized in Fresh Jump.
