Ricard Zaplana Ruiz is a Spanish illustrator, specialized in storyboards, animation and advertisements. He has worked regulary with directors like Isabel Coixet and J.A. Bayona. Through the Comicon agency in Barcelona, he has also made illustrations and comic stories. Since 2002, his art has appeared in such German children's magazines as Bummi, Benjamin Blümchen, Galupy, Diddl Käseblatt, Tiggers Spielekiste and Die Olchis. He has also made illustrations for children's books with Winnie the Pooh, and for the books 'Hay una Vaca en la Nevera' (by Amaia Cia) and 'Adéu Capità!' (by Oliveri Benjamí).
