Mickey Mouse by Mohammed Al-Teihamy

Mohammed Al-Teihamy (also written as Mohammed Al Touhamy) is an Egyptian comic artist who worked for the comic magazine Samir (سمير) in the 1970s. He was also present in Mickey (ميكي), the Egyptian Disney comics magazine published by Dar Al-hilal, in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Mickey contained comics that were produced by local artists, including Al-Teihamy.

His drawings were featured on many of the magazine's covers. He drew various Mickey Mouse stories and regionalized the iconic mouse by having him wear Arabic national costumes and observing Islamic traditions like the Ramadan. One memorable serial, scripted by Majdy Najeeb, had Mickey fighting the villain The Red Cat on Mars.
