Le Vieux Ferrand, by Aris

Gilles Aris, born in Toulouse, entered the comics field through several art studios. After his first publications in the magazine Jade, he launched the Azimut fanzine with Alain Garrigue and Bernard Olivié. Aris additionally inked the backgrounds on two 'Léo Loden' albums, and worked on a couple of projects with Gani Jakupi. At the Salon de Colomiers, Aris met Christophe Gibelin, with whom he started the series 'Le Vieux Ferrand' at Delcourt in 2000 (three albums until 2004). In 2006, he created the one shot 'Lune de Jour' at the publishing house Carabas.
