Born in Marseille, Olivier Bramanti studied Fine Arts in Angoulême. His first comic pages were published in the anthologies publisher Delcourt dedicated to the work of the students of his academy. He then joined the publishing house Amok (now Fremok) and contributed short stories to Le Cheval Sans Tête. His first comic album was 'Le Pont de l'Ange', published in 1999, and it was followed by 'Le Chemin des Merles' in 2001. He also participated in collective projects of the publisher Frémok ('Paradis/Paraiso - Djazz 01') and the Khiasma organization ('Birmanie - la Peu est une Habitude'). In 2004, he produced 'Qui A Connu Le Feu' with Yvan Alagbé. His brother is comic artist Jean-Philippe Bramanti.
