Il Principe Azzurro (Intrepido #48, 19/11/1941)
Giuseppe Cappadonia was a painter, illustrator and comic artist from Milan. He attended the Brera Academy, learning the profession from teachers like Giuseppe Mentessi, Achille Cattaneo and Vespasiano Bignami. In the early 20th century he was doing mainly advertising and poster art. He was an illustrator for books and magazines and worked for printing firms like Morzenti, Ricordi and the Institute of Graphic Arts of Bergamo. In the 1940s, he was an artist with the publishing houses Edital (where Lina Buffolente was his assistant) and Universo, where he took over the comic strip 'Il Principe Azzurro' in Intrepido when Antonio Salemme went to War.
