Een avontuur van Rieuwert Catz (In De Groene Omelet)

Rieuwert Catz was a high school mate of Hanco Kolk. He later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arnhem, together with Aloys Oosterwijk and Ben Jansen. He joined these three men, together with René Meulenbroek and Diederick van Kleef, in the creation of the amateur comics magazine De Omelet. Seven issues were published between 1976 and 1978.  Whereas the others moved on to found Studio Arnhem and become professional comic artists and illustrators, the comic careers of Catz and Van Kleef ended here. Rieuwert Catz has been working as a high school drawing teacher since 1979.
