Nachtwacht
Louis Clement was born in the mid-1990s, presumably 1995. Since 2020, he has been credited as an inker and assistant artist on the Belgian celebrity comic 'Nachtwacht', written by Peter Van Gucht and drawn by Steve Van Bael. Based on the children's TV series of the same name, produced by Studio 100 and broadcast on Ketnet, the 'Nachtwacht' series deals with a supernatural trio with magical powers, who ahve to protect the village of Schemermeer from creatures of the underworld. The book series was launched in 2019 by Standaard Uitgeverij. For the earlier albums, Van Bael was assisted by Jos Vanspauwen, but from the 6th volume on, Louis Clement was on board as inker. For some installments, Clement has done the finished pencil art, with Vanspauwen returning for the inking.

In 2023, both Steve Van Bael and Peter Van Gucht left the 'Nachtwacht' project, with the new scriptwriter becoming Nico De Braekeleer. By then, Patrick Van Oppen had already joined as a pencil artist, while inker Louis Clement and colorist Marloes Dekkers remained part of the production team. Since 2024, pencil duties have been alternated between Van Oppen and Clement, with the latter's first book as solo artist was volume #17, 'De Spookridder'.
