Joan Espinach is a Catalan artist who was affiliated with the Comicup studios since the mid-1980s. He has drawn comics with Disney characters for the several European publishers, but from 1987, he has drawn exclusively for the Italian magazine Topolino. He has also worked in animation with Miquel Pujol. In 2002, he was the driving force of El Cómic de la Premsa Comarcal, a magazine featuring the work of Catalan artists.
