Jean-Luc Garréra has worked as an illustrator for magazines like Mikado, Le Journal de Mickey, Wanted Komiks and Guitart Part. He is the artist of the soccer comic 'OM - Droit au But!', written by Zampano and Thierry Agnello for Hugo BD since 2008. Garréra is however mainly active as a comic scriptwriter. He wrote 'Fitness Academy' for Skiav (Hugo BD, 2007) and worked with Serge Ernst on the scripts of 'Zapping Generation' for Spirou between 2007 and 2009. He writes the sports gag series 'Vélo Maniacs' for Éditions Bamboo since 2006. The art is by Alain Julié. In 2014, he additionally created 'Les Degueux' with Cédric Ghorbani for Jungle.
