Wouter Goudswaard is a Dutch comic artist and commercial artist based in Bergen op Zoom. Originally from Zierikzee, at age 14, he published his first small-press comic book at Margreet de Heer's Senoeni label. He studied at the Sint-Lukas School of Arts in Brussels, Belgium, and in 2013 received his master's degree in Comic Art. He mostly draws comics and illustrations for communication purposes by commission of companies and organizations.
Goudswaard also has his personal comics projects. 'Schaap & Godin' is a comic about a talking sheep and a goddess, that appeared on the Flemish digital comics platform Strike. 'Ridiculand' is an absurd webcomic about a kingdom with weird inhabitants. Both comics are published in book format through Syndikaat. Goudswaard also writes occasional scripts for Donald Duck weekly magazine, and participates in several comic and art-related projects.
