Frank Patrick Little attended the Art Students League. He began his career in the 1930s working alongside Dr. Seuss at Audio Cinema (1931-1932). Afterwards he worked for Van Beuren (1932-1934) and Loucks & Nordlings (1935-1936). Between 1937 and 1943, he joined Terrytoons. He did magazine art (a.o. gag cartoons in the Brooklyn Eagle) and in the second half of the 1930s he also turned to comic book aArt, doing among others 'Spike Spaulding' for National/DC. In the mid-1940s, he worked for Bernard Baily on features like 'Dinky Winkie', 'Dodo', 'Fantastic Ferdy', 'Nip and Tuck', 'Posum Pete', 'Super Baby' and 'Superstitious Aloysius'.
Then in the second half of the 1940s and the 1950s, he worked mainly through the Iger Studios. Among his credits are Fawcett's 'Droopy', 'Freshman Freddy', 'Muscle Hedd', Mc Combs' 'Ace of the Newsreels', 'Clue Kelly' and 'Hubert' and Farrell's 'Itchy', 'Mighty Ghost', 'Spunky', 'Super Cat' and 'Sweetie Pie'. He also continued to work in the animation field, contributing to Famous Studios and Fletcher Smith. He was affiliated with the Army Pictorial Center from 1957 through the 1960s.
