The Whiz Horse (Merry-Go-Round #2, April 1948)
Ray Patin was a comic book artist and animator. Between 1944 and 1948 he was a freelance comic book artist through the Sangor Studio. He illustrated stories for Better Publications titles like America's Funniest Comics, Fearless Farmsworth and Goofy Comics, doing features like 'Paunter Pig' and 'The Whiz Horse'.
As an animator, Patin was a writer for Disney's 'Donald Duck' shorts and for Carry-Weston. In the 1950s and 1960s he headed his own Ray Patin Studios, that employed among others Ken Champin and Eli Bauer.
