Dignes Dingues, by Philippe Richelle

Philippe Richelle began his comics career as an artist in Tintin magazine. He drew the gag series 'Dignes Dingues' from 1984 to 1988 with text by Didgé. In 1987, he also took on the 'Jo Guigne' strip. Richelle eventually began to focus on comic writing in stead of drawing in the late 1980s. He started out working with Patrice Cadot, for whom he wrote the gag strip 'Chaffoux' (succeeding Bom) and later 'Jordan'. He then began a collaboration with Delitte, with whom he did 'Le Télévore' at Glénat in 1990 and later 'Amours Fragiles' and 'Les Coulisses du Pouvoir' at Casterman. For Beuriot, he wrote 'Venturi' and 'Rebelles' at Glénat, followed by 'Belle Comme la Mort' at Casterman.
