Yoshioka Ryuzaburo was a Japanese mangaka who regularly published in mainstream children's magazines in the 1940s and 1950s. One of his manga is 'Kaihakase' ('Doctor Strange'), a story from 1947 about a boy who can transform himself into other characters at will, including famous characters like E.C. Segar's 'Popeye', Osamu Tezuka's Mr. Cactus and Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse.
