Basil Shi no Yuuga na Seikatsu
Yasuko Sakata is a famous Japanese mangaka who was part of the Year 24 Group, just like Moto Hagio and Keiko Takemiya. Sakata made her debut in 1975 with 'Saikon Kyousou Kyoku' in Hana to Yume. One of her best known manga serials is 'Basil-uji no Yuuga na Seikatsu'. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, she was involved in the yaoi doujinshi movement with her serial 'Loveri', among others. Her best known works are 'Jikan wo Warerani', 'Basil Shi no Yuuga na Seikatsu' ('The Elegant Life of Mr Basil') and 'Yamiyo no Hon'.
