Gerardo Sandoval began his career in Mexico as an illustrator for the so-called Ghetto Librettos, small Mexican pulp comic books full of sex and violence made for the working class man. He has worked among others on Yo Confieso by Editorial Toukán. In addition, he has done art on the adventure comic book series 'Aqua' (Ed. Comisión Estatal del Agua de Guanajuato y Grupo EsComic!), and on US titles like 'Tomb Raider' (Top Cow), 'Spider-Man', 'Wolverine' (Marvel) and 'The Lone Ranger'. He is the brother of Horacio Sandoval.
