Arvandor
Originally from Brittany, longtime comic fan Olivier Thomas graduated in hydrodynamic acoustics and a longtime comic fan. He worked as an engineer, while taking art courses in Jean-Louis Mourier's workshop in Marseille and publishing his first short comic story in Lanfeust Mag. He did his first professional art jobs for his industrial clients and eventually set up the mystical comic series 'Arvandor' with Eric Stoffel. Vents d'Ouest published three books between 2001 and 2003.
Dos à la mer
It was with the publishing house Emmanuel Proust Éditions that he developed a more realistic style. His first project for this publisher was the detective thriller 'Sans Pitié', a comic series written by Pascal Génot and Bruno Pradelle (2005-09). The second was 'Dos à la mer', another detective comic from scripts by Antonin Varenne and Olivier Berlion. Thomas also worked with Bruno Pradelle on the coloring of 'Loup' for Éric Stalner and 'Pandemonium' by Stefano Raffaele.
