Touché by Thomas Korner
'Touché'. The man with the sunglasses observes the magnificance of the dive and compares it to heavy weight boxing: "The brain hits the skull at full speed, which has instant, absolute stupidity as a result." - "Great! Again!"

Thomas Körner, who signs his strips (c)Tom, was born in 1960 in Säckingen and studied politics. At the age of 30, he turned to creating comics, and his daily 'Touché' comic has appeared in Dei Tageszeitung since 1991. This comic, which doesn't feature any regular main characters, displays a warm humor and has been collected in albums. Körner received an award for his work at the Comics Salon in Erlangen.

Thomas Körner, A.K.A. Tom, should not be confused with Portuguese comic artist Tom (A.K.A. Thomaz de Mello) (1906-1990), Spanish/Catalan comic artist Tom (Antonio Roca Palacios) (1953), nor with British mathematician Thomas William Körner (1946).
