Juan Matías Loiseau, who is best known as Tute, is the son of comic artist Caloi. He studied graphic design in the Escuela Superior de Diseño, and graphic humor in the Escuela de Garaycochea. In 1993, he started his professional career as a cartoonist. In 1998, he started publishing in La Nación Revista. A little later, he began his cartoon feature 'Tutelandia' in La Nación. Tute has published in several international magazines, including La Prensa (Argentina), El Expreso Diario (Argentina), El Mundo (USA), Alburquerque Journal North (USA), San Juan Star (Puerto Rico), La Prensa (Panama), La Prensa Gráfica (El Salvador), La Hora (Chile), and in Revista Tres (Uruguay), La Nación Revista (Argentina).
