Gaspare Cassaro forms one of the few pairs of twin cartoonists with his brother Gaetano. Born in Licata, Agrigento, they studied at the Academy of Florence and made their debut in 1975 with the comic 'Betty Queen' for Universo. They subsequently worked on the books 'Il segno rosso del coraggio' and 'Charlie Parker' for Ottaviano, and on stories for LancioStory and Full. They began an assocation with the publishing house Bonelli, for which they drew 'Bella & Bronco' and 'Martin Mystère'. On his own, Gaspare has drawn 'Ricky' for Il Giornalino, 'Gordon Link' for Dardo, and some Disney comics for Topolino in the 1990s.
