Slavisa Cirovic (Slaviša Ćirović) is a Serbian artist, who has been active since the mid-1970s. He was and artist and editor with Dečje Novine, the publisher of magazines like Yu Strip. Cirovic was responsible for selecting the comics, and was also an author himself. Throughout his career, he has worked with such international comic book companies as Dupuis, SEPP, Bonelli, Marvel, DC and Dark Horse. Since the 1990s, he has been working through his own companies Nip Maverick and Lucky Media Studio. Together with Nikola Maslovara, writer Brana Nikolić and colorist Zdravko Zupan, he was responsible for the 'Yupi Stars' comic book series in 1988.
