Sander de Fouw is a Dutch comic artist and illustrator from The Hague, who has been active since 2000. He has worked for a number of children's magazines by ZPress and Blink Uitgevers, such as Stoer ('Stoere Jongens!') and National Geographic Junior ('Stuntelman', about a clumsy stuntman, from scripts by Margreet de Heer and later Robbert Damen). From 2011 to 2016, he did the art for the new concept of the school magazine Taptoe magazine, making illustrations for the magazine and the website, and drawing the title comic from scripts by Robbert Damen. They also made a regular feature called 'Odin vraagt zich af...'.
Since September 2016, De Fouw and Damen are also responsible for the comic strips published in Taptoe's follow-up, Wild van Freek, an educational magazine about nature and wildlife built around popular biologist Freek Vonk. Besides comic stories with Vonk himself, they also make a strip about his rock monitor, called 'Johans wilde avonturen'. De Fouw has furthermore illustrated teaching material for the publishing house Malmberg, and works as a commercial graphic designer, character desinger and live cartoonist.
