Lolly, by Pete Hansen (1967)
'Lolly'.

Pete Hansen was originally from Denmark, but moved with his family to the USA when he was two years old. He was an animator at the Disney Studios from 1938 to 1941. Later on, he worked on a couple of newspaper comics, including 'Flapdoodles' (1950-1953) and 'Lolly' (17 March 1955-1983), syndicated by.The Chicago Tribune and New York News Syndicate. 'Lolly' featured gags about a pretty young girl, Lolly, and her younger brother, Pepper. Contrary to most other comics about teenage girls, Lolly and Pepper didn't live with their parents, but their grandmother, Granny. They don't take care of the senior, though. Granny has an office job, supervised by Mr. Quimby. Between September 1957 and 1962, 'Lolly' also branched out in a comic book series, published by Dell, under the title 'Lolly & Pepper'.

In the 1980s, he provided some scriptwriting for the American production of Disney comics for foreign publications.
