Xavier Henrion is a French comic artist, who works under his first name, Xavier. He canceled his scientific studies at the age of 17, and focused on an artistic career instead. He attended art schools in Paris, Angoulême and Brussels. Already at the of 17, he made his first comic book in cooperation with Éric Omond for Soleil, but the book was never released. He teamed up with scriptwriter Téhem for the Viking gag series 'Root', that was published in Tchô!, and in book format by Glénat between 2007 and 2009. With Tony Emeriau, he made the adult cartoon series 'Sticky Pants', published by Monsieur Pop Corn from 2014. Xavier's manga-inspired solo comic 'Toxic Boy' was published by Sandawe in 2014.
