Eirik Ildahl has written numerous scripts for established comics such as 'Donald Duck' and 'The Phantom'. He has also created a number of his own comics. Some of the titles he created with other artists are 'Solruns Saga' (illustrated by Bjørn Ousland) and 'Herman Storm' (illustrated by Jean-Yves Mitton and Enrique Villagran). From the mid-eighties to the present, Eirik has mainly written screenplays. One of them, the black-comedy thriller 'Head Above The Water' (1996), was remade for an American audience. Together with Arild Midthun and Terje Nordberg, he created the daily strip 'Dad and Dorothy', which was first published in May 1997. Eirik lives in Oslo, Norway, with his wife, two kids, a cat and a dog.
