Andreas Pasda was born in 1961 in East Germany (the year that the Wall was built). After his education, he started working for the publisher Junge Welt. He made his debut in comics when his first work was published in magazine Atze. Especially his animal comic 'Piep und Tschiep' and the adventure series 'Arminius' became very popular. In 1990, he also started working for magazine Mosaik. From 1992 until 1994, he drew the daily 'Abrafaxe' newspaper comic. After 1994, his contributions became more sporadic. Together with Jörg Reuter and Jens-Uwe Schubert, he founded the artist group Zonic and created 'Wandlitz'. Since 2001, he has been working for Mosaik more regularly again.
