Frank Jessup was a freelance cartoonist from Sydney, who contributed to publications like The Bulletin, Smith's Weekly, Women's Budget and The Comic Australian in the first half of the 20th century. He was also active in the Australian comic book industry of the 1940s. His art appeared in several one-shot titles with action and adventure stories, published by Frank Johnson Publications under revealing titles like Amazing, Bonzer, Bosker, Challenge, Champion, Conquer, Corker, Exciting, Gigantic, Grand, Hero, Hot Shot, Lucky, Marvel, Mighty, Modern, New Terrific, Prize, Riot and Smash Hit. Other regular artists for these publications were Unk White, Les Dixon, Norm Rice, Carl Lyon, Ron Broadley and Rhys Williams.
