Jean Mulatier is a French cartoonist and caricaturist, who drew for magazines like Mormoil and Pilote in the 1960s and 1970s. His critically acclaimed caricatures have been published internationally in such publications as Esquire, Le Figaro, Time, Playboy, and Elle. His many caricatures have been collected in the book series 'Les Grandes Gueules' by Editions Atelier between 1979 and 1986.
Mulatier made a graphic contribution to Marion Vidal's 'Monsieur Schulz et ses Peanuts’ (Albin Michel, 1976), an essay about Charles M. Schulz’ 'Peanuts’, illustrated with subversive parodies of the comic, that Schulz unsuccessfully tried to sue.
