Thomas Starling Sullivant, known as T.S. Sullivant, was an American illustrator and caricaturist. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, and spent many years of his early life in Europe, and Germany in particular. He studied at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts and became especially known for his pen and ink cartoon drawings of animals and ethnic figures.

Sullivant also drew political cartoons, illustrated children's books, and was one of the frequent artists for Life magazine wit his 'Aesop to Date' series, among other things. His drawings also appeared in periodicals like Puck, Harper's Weekly and Texas Siftings. He moved from Life to Judge magazine in the early 1900s, and also became a political cartoonist for the papers of William Randolph Hearst until 1907. He returned to Life magazine in 1911 and remained a contributor until his death in 1926. Sullivant's animal illustrations were a strong influence on J.R. Bray, Nancy Beiman, Walt Disney, Walt KellyGus Mager and Jim Woodring.
