Beagle Boys (D 8812)
Maria José Sánchez Núñez is a Spanish Disney artist, who works for the Danish production. Born in Cordoba, she moved with her family to Barcelona in 1970, where she met comic artist Miquel Pujol. She began her career in Disney comics as an inker at the Recreo agency in 1980, doing mainly assignments for the German Ehapa Verlag and the Italian Mondadori. At this agency, she cooperated with Marga Querol Manzano on the inking of the work of Miquel Pujol, César Ferioli and Maximino Tortajada Aguilar. She left Recreo after 6 years, when she started to work directly for the Danish publisher Egmont. There she illustrates mainly 'Beagle Boys' stories.
