Remco Lee Polman is a Dutch comic artist and animator. He studied Philosophy at the Radboud University in Nijmegen and was founding member of Studio Iris and its small-press magazine of the same name in the 1990s. Besides making their own comics for the magazine, Polman and his fellow studio members, including Marc Middelhuis, Paul Hoogma and Wilfred Ottenheijm, wrote scripts for 'Sjors en Sjimmie' and 'Donald Duck'.
He makes the gag series 'Vera en Victor' with Frank Jonker for NOV magazines like Sport- en Vrijwilligerskrant since 1999. He started the studio Mooves with Jantiene de Kroon and Wilfred Ottenheijm in 1999, through which he works on animation and cartooning projects.

Remco Polman is also a member of the Mark Retera Ensemble, and has participated in the plots and art of the hilarious newspaper comic 'DirkJan' since 2003. The team also developed the first short 'DirkJan' animated film in 2004. Polman's animation film 'Mortel' (2006) earned a nomination for the Oscar 2008 in the category 'Animated Shorts'.
In February 2012 he presented his second comic strip, 'Floris van Dondermonde' in Eppo magazine. Besides gag strips, he has also made longer stories with the character in cooperation with Wilfred Ottenheijm. Polman has also done several contributions to Wat Wil West, Maia Machen's free comics paper for the Amsterdam quarter Oud-West in 2014.
