Meridiano K

Born in 1933, José María Del Bo published his earliest work in the magazine Filmograf in the early 1950s. By 1955, he drew 'Chass Ericsson' in Dragón Blanco. He then began an association with Poncho Negro and it's publisher Edirorial Sugestiones, for which he created the series 'Terry Atlas' and a cartoon series called 'Muerte al Minuto'. He also provided covers to collections like 'Aventuras del Oeste' for Ediciones Universales.
In the 1960s he was present at Editorial Frontera with episodes of 'Cuentos de la Ciudad Grande' in Hora Cero Extra and issues of'Batallas Inolvidables'. From 1962 he worked for Editorial Yago on series like 'Meridiano K', 'Tony Mackett', 'John Speed, investigador espacial', 'Más allá de lo Humano' and 'Capitán Martin' in Misterix y Rayo Rojo.
He worked briefly in Brazil in 1964 and headed for the USA in 1965 where he has worked on comic books like 'Turok', 'The Twilight Zone', 'The Lone Ranger', 'Buck Rogers' and 'Wonder Woman', as well as the syndicated strips of 'Superman' and 'Batman'.
