Jordi Macabich (also mentioned as Jorge Macabich) worked on comic series like 'Aunque le Cueste Creerlo', 'Dígame vd.' and 'El Inspector Dan' for Pulgarcito magazine in the early 1950s. In the 1940s he had already worked on Toray collections like 'Capitán Coraje'. With Barry Coker, Macabich was co-founder and manager of the international agency Bardon Art in 1959. The agency provided mainly art for the British market (Bardon was short for Barcelona-London), including the Amalgamated Press libraries like the Cowboy Picture Library, but also for European publishers (Kauka in Germany, Disney comics for The Netherlands and Denmark).
